WHAT IS FREEMASONRY

It’s the oldest, largest and most prestigious fraternity in the world. We’re kind of like a civic club, a charitable institution and a fraternity – all rolled into one. We’re like a civic club in that we do a lot of community and statewide projects. We’re like a major charity in that we give almost $1.5 million away every day. But, most importantly, we are a fraternity for men doing good things for each other, and trying to bring men of good morals and ethics together in our community.

WHAT DO MASONS DO?
The most important thing we do is take care of each other and our families. We are a fraternity. That means we help other Masons, treat them in special ways, support them no matter where they live. And we build friendships all over the world. Not very many organizations do that today. And we help others. That’s why we give almost $1.5 million a day to charity. And most of our money goes to help kids. We rank among the top 10 best-liked charitable groups in America. But we also teach leadership skills, and help men lead an ethics-based life. We promote good relationships and strong family values. We try to do something to strengthen the family unit every day.

WHAT DO YOU GET OUT OF IT?
A lot of pride, and a sense of belonging to an organization that exists all over the world. Being part of a great heritage. Sharing an identity with the greatest men of the past – and of today. Sharing a special bond with men from all walks of life – creating life-long friendships with them. Just being a member of an organization that believes in toleration – that lets each man think for himself and express his own opinions, without worrying about being wrong.

You will get a lot more out of Masonry than you put into it.

WHAT IS THE MISSION OF FREEMASONRY?
To promote a way of life that binds like-minded men in a worldwide brotherhood that transcends all religious, ethnic, cultural, social and educational differences; by teaching the great principles of brotherly love, relief and truth; and by the outward expression of these through its fellowship, its compassion and its concern, to find ways in which to serve God, family, country, neighbors and self.

In Need Of A Rehab?

Posted By on Apr 14, 2014

drug-rehab-web-siteWhen people struggle with alcoholic addition, they shun alcoholic treatment because it is difficult for them to imagine that they can be sober again. Rehabilitation is never impossible and change can occur regardless of how despondent an alcoholic may feel. Through the right treatment program and lots of support from family and friends, addiction can finally be overcome.

Any addict has a number of options including in-patient treatment programs, outpatient treatment programs, a withdrawal plan program and many other programs. However, it is by addressing the root cause of the addiction that any addict can be able to start dealing with the problem. While the path towards recovery will be filled with setbacks, it helps not to give up and to focus on change by examining the problem at hand.

In order to overcome addiction, you must have a complete change of environment. This is why you must find the right place to recover through a therapy program that is designed specifically for you. Because alcohol is a psychologically addictive drug, you might feel that your stress and anxiety is relieved and in situations of stress, you might want to rush for the bottle.

Alcoholics are generally convinced that by drinking, they solve the problems that they are going through. The consumption of alcohol only helps in the postponement of problems. The more one drinks, the more they are convinced that they need more to get through the day.

The following signs of addiction would indicate that one needs to find a treatment plan.

• Drinking because you want to avoid a situation that is stressful
• Consumption of alcohol alone at any hour of the day.
• Consuming excessive amounts of alcohol and experiencing episodes of blackouts.
• Being convinced that you need another drink to help you get through the day.
• Constant neglect of responsibilities at home, at work or at school because of drinking.
• The consumption of alcohol in potentially dangerous situations such as driving or operating machinery under the influence or consumption of alcohol while also taking prescription medication despite the doctor having ordered otherwise
• Getting into problems with the law because of drinking for example being taken into custody because of inappropriate behavior or because of driving under the influence of alcohol.
• Continuing to drink while alcohol is the root cause of problems in your relationships.

Unless people drink responsibly, drinking will only cause further problems. Alcohol has an addictive nature and it is difficult to fight the impulse to drink more to prevent thoughts and issues that the alcoholic has to deal with. Anyone that is addicted to alcohol can only stop the problem by seeking for help from professionals who have an awareness and understanding of the problem.

The first step towards recovery is to admit that you have an alcoholic addiction problem. With the help of loved ones, you can get into an alcohol treatment program and be on your way to recovery. A number of options for treatment are available and while professional help is important, you will need to work at recovery despite how tough this might seem to be.

Whether you’re a small business trying to manage data storage or you need to have swift access to files on your home computer, document management software can help you keep track of all your important files.

Document management software does just what the name implies—it allows the user to upload multiple files of different size and type and organize them by category or any number of user preferences. The user or a network of users can access these filed on a shared drive path and settings can even be adjusting to allow certain users to view documents other can’t. This is a huge advantage to businesses you need to share and locate files from multiple access points.

Another advantage is the ability to go paperless. So much of a company’s paper documentation is comprised of archived data—records, billings, invoices, and other data that isn’t used often but if were ever lost could cause major problems. Every year, companies around the world pay hefty fees associated with audits. Most times these fees are the result of not being able to provide the requested documentation when needed. Another problem with paper documents is the time lost trying to locate them. Searching for missing documents means time lost that could be spent more efficiently. Not to mention that going paperless saves so much space and cost in regard to storage and when you factor in the cost of buying paper, going paperless makes even more sense.

In addition, with electronic files, you have the ability to edit your documents in real time and save a different version to a shared location. The system keeps track of all changes and the user name of the last person to edit. This is especially useful when the network has utilized a workflow system where more than one person may be involved with completing part of a task before assigning that task to another party.

No matter what your specific file sharing needs, going paperless and effectively managing your document flow can be very beneficial. There are a number of software programs out there to compare in order to find the best option for you.
